Este es el primer tomo de una serie de tres libros donde será tratado el tema de las cadenas de tensión miofascial en relación con la personalidad: las cadenas antero-medianas ligadas a lo afectivo, las cadenas postero-medianas ligadas a la acción, a la competencia y en fin las cadenas postero-anteriores y antero-posteriores ligadas a la noción de ideal. Es la continuación de un primer libro consagrado a las nociones de base y que enfoca los principios generales esenciales para el estudio más profundo de las diferentes cadenas, y también a los dos tomos consagrados a las cadenas de tensión miosfacial en relación con el comportamiento relaional: las cadenas antero-laterales y pastero-laterales. Este estudio, largamente ilustrado de esquemas y fotos, enfoca la anatomo-fisio-patología de las cadenas de tensión miofascial antero-medianas cuya actividad resulta de una necesidad de afecto. Cuando esa necesidad es importante y en consecuencia difícil de satisfacer, el cuerpo se cifosa en el plano sagital, el esternón se hunde como para materializar ese vacío afectivo. En la enumeración de huellas musculares específicas y de disfuncionamiento osteo-articular constituyendo lo que llamamos serie articular, resultante del exceso de tensión en las cadenas anteriores y medianas, abordaremos entre otros, el hallux valgo, el genu valgo, los problemas de periné, el hundimiento esternal, la inversión de curva cervical, y el retroceso de la mandíbula. Estudiaremos los mecanismos de instalación de una cifosis dorsal, teniendo en cuenta el rol, muchas veces ignorado, del esótago como músculo. Trataremos de encontrar la relación entre la mecánica y el lugar energético correspondiente al bazo, al páncreas y al estómago, que el paralelismo con la medicina china nos sugiere. La relación con el elemento, (como tierra nutriente), cuya gama de colores, desde un punto de vissta energético, va del amarillo al marrón; ha determinado la elección del color del trigo maduro para la portada y para las ilustraciones de este libro. En un esquema fisiológico, las cadenas postero-laterales, controlan a las cadenas anteriores y medianas, pero ese control puede transtormarse en dominio, en este caso, las cadenas antero-medianas van a entrar en reacción. Al contrario, estas cadenas pueden dominar e invertir el control de la cadena PL, que en este caso será la cadena reactiva. Precisaremos las modalidades más frecuentes de este juego de acción-reacción. Esta serie de libros tiene como objetivo, facilitar el trabajo de nuestros alumnos, y puede también dar información al neófito sobre el aspecto biomecánico del método. Rigor biomecánico, relación con el comportamiento, enlaces posibles con la filosofía oriental para ampliar nuestra comprensión de la globalidad. Todos estos elementos caracterizan este trabajo.
